Maps for new standard planning instruments
The first standard local environmental planning instrument made under section 33A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 is now available online on the legislation website, including the approved maps:

Canada Bay Local Environmental Plan 2008

Detailed maps for standard instruments are published on the legislation website and will appear progressively as new instruments are made.

When maps are available, a “Maps” button automatically appears in the tool bars on the “in force” version for that particular instrument. Historical, superseded versions of maps will be retained to provide a point-in-time feature in the same way that legislative text is retained and presented.

The maps are readily accessible in zoomable PDF and there is information about how to use this application on the legislation website.

Maps for other plans based on the standard instrument
A number of recent planning instruments based on the standard instrument also have maps available:

Gosford City Centre Local Environmental Plan 2007
Liverpool City Centre Local Environmental Plan 2007
Newcastle City Centre Local Environmental Plan 2008
Parramatta City Centre Local Environmental Plan 2007
State Environmental Planning Policy (Sydney Region Growth Centres) 2006
